Punjabi Chana Masala Recipe by KooKingK

 1 Cup Chickpeas Soaked With 1 tsp of Soda bicarbonate
 2 Sliced Onion
 1/4 Cup Tamarind Pulp
 1 tbsp Chopped Ginger
 1 tbsp Chopped Garlic
 1 tbsp Red chili powder
 1 tbsp Coriander powder
 1 tsp Turmeric
 1 tbsp Salt
 1 tsp Rock Salt
 1 tsp Garam Masala

To make Punjabi Chana Masala first, Take a pot put over medium flame and then add 1/2 cup of oil then place the onion and fry until it turns into nice golden color then add ginger and garlic and cook for about 1 minute. After that add Chickpeas with water and stir it. Add 3 glass of water and cover with a lid and cook until the chickpeas become tender. Meanwhile, take another pan to add oil when the oil heat enough add the spices (red chili, turmeric, coriander powder and rock salt cook for 1 or 2 minutes.
pour the tamarind and mix it up.

Once the chickpeas are done add salt and mix it well then add cooked Masala and mix it up. Sprinkle the garam masala and simmer for 5 minutes.

Chole Masala is ready.
