 250 g Fenugreek
 1 Cup Boiled Split Mong
 1/4 Cup Fresh Dill
 1 tbsp Garlic
 1 inch piece Ginger (cut in julian)
 1 Chopped Green chili
  1 tbsp Cumin seeds
 1 tbsp Red chili powder
 1 tsp Turmeric powder
 1 pinch Garam masala
 1 1/2 tsp Salt
 1/2 Cup Oil

To make Dal Methi first, Take a pot to add oil, when the oil heat enough add cumin seed, green chili and garlic. Stir it for 1 minute then add onion and cook until it turns into golden then add tomato and cook for about 3 to 4 minutes then put red chili, turmeric with salt and cook until the oil oozes out.

After that, place the fenugreek and mix it well, cook for 5 minutes then add boiled lentil and mix it up. Put 1 1/2 cup of water and simmer for 10 minutes then add ginger, dill and spinkle the pinch of garam masala.

Methi dal is ready. Serve it with chapatti or boiled rice.
